 We create a wide range of handmade woodcrafts — from wall art and cutting boards to indoor and outdoor furniture. Each piece is designed, cut, and finished by hand in our New Albany, Ohio workshop. Whether you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind centerpiece or functional everyday items, every Hearts Rekindled creation is built to last and made with care. 

Yes — every piece is handcrafted individually, not mass-produced. We use traditional woodworking techniques, quality hardwoods, and hand-applied finishes to ensure beauty, durability, and authenticity. No two pieces are exactly alike. 

We typically work with maple, walnut, cherry, oak, and pine, as well as reclaimed or specialty woods when available. If you have a specific wood type in mind for a custom project, we’ll do our best to source it for you.

Absolutely. Custom projects are a core part of what we do.
We’ll work with you to design a unique piece that fits your space and style. Once we finalize your design, a non-refundable 50% deposit is required to begin work, with the remaining balance due before delivery or shipment.

Lead times vary depending on the project’s size and complexity. Most small items (like cutting boards or decor) take 2–3 weeks, while larger pieces of furniture may take 6–10 weeks. We’ll provide an estimated completion date before work begins and keep you updated throughout the process. 

Yes! If you are ordering non-furniture items, offer free standard shipping within the United States. Each order is carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery. At this time, we do not ship internationally. Local pickup is available in New Albany, Ohio by appointment. 

Unfortunately, we also cannot ship furniture pieces because price is cost prohibitive. Customers must arrange pickup or freight shipping on their own for those pieces.

• Standard catalog items may be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided they are unused and in original condition. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
   
• Custom orders cannot be returned or exchanged, as they are made specifically for you.
  If your item arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days so we can make it right.

Proper care will help your piece last for years.

• Cutting boards: Hand-wash only with mild soap and water. Do not soak or use a dishwasher. Recondition with food-safe mineral oil or board butter as needed.
   
• Furniture and decor: Avoid direct sunlight, heat, and excess moisture. Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
   
• Outdoor furniture: Reapply sealant or finish annually for weather resistance.
  

Yes! Many of our items make beautiful gifts for weddings, housewarmings, or holidays. We can include a personalized note or gift wrapping upon request — just mention it when you place your order.  We also also gift cards for those last-minute holiday gifts.
